• Boards on Mac and iPad — drawings, scenes, and history sync through your private iCloud
• Nothing gets lost — if a board changes on both devices, the other version is saved in its History

Screenshot Capture

• Capture Area, Fullscreen, Window, and Previous Area — from the menu bar or global hotkeys you assign, with conflict warnings
• Quick-access tray — captures stack as cards: copy, save, pin, drag out, or double-click to annotate
• Screenshot editor — a dedicated window with annotation tools and padded backgrounds: gradients, wallpaper, blur, corners, shadow

Performance Overhaul

• Live alignment guides — Horizontal and vertical guides appear when a moving selection lines up with nearby shapes by center or edge
• Snap to alignment — Moving shapes snap into place when close to another shape, with a tolerance you can rely on
• Spacing measurements — Point-based distance labels along the active guide for lane-style and grouped diagrams

Toolbar Reorganization

• File menu — Open, Save, and Export consolidated into a single dropdown
• Grouped overflow — Show More popover organized into labeled sections (Tools, Style, Arrange, Insert, Canvas, Present, File, Edit)
• Consistent with Scene Manager — The toolbar no longer shifts when the Scene Manager is open

Whiteboard Polish

• Escape key safety — Escape cancels in-progress drawing or clears selection, and is a no-op when nothing is active
• Stable Board History popover — Deleting a snapshot no longer flickers the popover
• Clear All snapshots — New Clear All action at the bottom of the Board History popover with confirmation

Settings Sidebar Redesign

• Vertical left sidebar — Settings tabs now live in a persistent left column instead of a top tab strip
• Full-row click targets — The entire tab row is clickable, not just the label text
• No blink or jump — Selecting a tab keeps a stable layout across the Settings window

Validation & Live Updates

• Normalized settings — Stored drawing defaults are clamped to supported ranges before they are loaded
• Live drawing defaults — Drawing defaults, toolbar placement, and cursor click animation changes apply to the active session
• Safer shortcut recording — Reserved keys and duplicate assignments are rejected at the recorder

Polish & Branding

• Stable whiteboard popover — Switching between Blank, Dots, Grid, and Lines no longer closes the Board popover
• Accurate AI setup copy — Claude Code, Claude Desktop, Codex, and ChatGPT instructions are corrected and shared values stay consistent
• About branding — The About pane now centers the Lumary Labs LLC logo inside a cleaner card

Faster Whiteboard Entry

• Dock icon entry point — Clicking the Dock icon opens the All Boards gallery when no window is visible
• Preserved window behavior — Existing whiteboard windows are brought forward instead of creating duplicate surfaces
• Works with automatic Dock visibility — Dock behavior continues to follow whiteboard and gallery visibility

Command Palette & Board Switcher

• Command palette — Press ⇧⌘P to search and run common actions from the keyboard
• Board switcher — Press ⌘P to search, filter, and jump between whiteboards
• Full keyboard navigation — Arrow keys, Return, Escape, and click-outside dismissal work inside both palettes

Settings & Permissions Cleanup

• Dynamic Settings sizing — The Settings window adapts its size to the selected pane
• No Input Monitoring prompt — The keystroke display flow was removed so the app no longer asks to receive keystrokes from other applications
• MCP cleanup — Local AI tools no longer expose the removed keystroke display action

Saved Boards & Diagram Layout

• Saved board documents — Import `.screenannotation` files from the gallery, drag them in, and open them directly from Finder
• Layout actions — Align, distribute, arrange rows or columns, plus graph-aware Flow and Tree layouts
• Connected arrows stay attached — Layout operations keep node-and-arrow diagrams intact while elements move

Scene-Based Presentation

• Scene creation — Capture scenes from the current view or current selection
• Dedicated Scene Manager — Rename, duplicate, reorder, update, switch, and delete scenes in a real management window
• Presentation transitions — Scene playback supports styles like Fade and Dip to Black

Snapshots, Settings & MCP

• Board history — Manual and automatic snapshots with restore, delete, and duplicate-as-new-board flows
